The Deseret News reported this morning a major accident northbound on I-15 involving 3 cars. The Highway Patrol described the accident saying that a car in the right lane swerved and clipped the tail end of another vehicle. The vehicle unfortunately rolled and hit another car in the car pool lane. Three lanes of traffic were shut down for hours as a result and the at fault driver was transported by ambulance in critical condition. The other drivers sustained only minor injuries.
Accidents like this happen frequently on Utah roads, but accident injury ignorance continues to plague accident injury victims. While it is obvious that a driver involved in a roll over accident needs to be checked out, it is not obvious to most that that a clipped driver, or rear ended driver also needs to be checked out. Medical experts both nationally and locally agree that Chiropractic care is the best way to treat back and neck pain. Car accidents are one of the leading causes of back pain in America because drivers don’t realize that any kind of serious jolt, fall, or impact can have major influence on the spine and as a result go for weeks or months untreated allowing the injury to become aggravated.
